G-d said

“My dear,

I have looked into your heart and read everything that is written there.

I must tell you that all I have seen has made me long to hold you closely

So come a little nearer,

 Please”

“When anyone tries to tell me
that the Beloved does not exist,
I laugh –
For it is like hearing the full moon say
(absolutely radiant)
that there is no sun, or light!”

What you have really been waiting for
is not to be invited in
to the house where the lovers
sit blissfully drinking tea;

But to see your reflection

in the cup that G-D himself

has been gently stirring

all this long,

thirsty, time.
